  • We invite you to journey with us in this unique three-day, four-night retreat at Kishindo Private Game Reserve, where people of diverse orientations explore their own intimacy & gender journeys and share what it means to be human together. Your journey will be guided by seasoned facilitators Laurie Gaum & Marchané Janeke

  • Explore different activities finely crafted over decades to foster connection and deepened relationship.

  • Encounter human intimacy with all its nuances, joys and pitfalls.
  • Express by celebrating your embodied self in your engagement with the breathtaking wild of Kishindo Private Game Reserve.

Laurie Gaum is senior trainer, facilitator and project manager for the nonprofit organisation Genderworks. He previously worked for a centre for spirituality established by Desmond Tutu, focusing on contemplation and action for social change. His focus areas are sexualities, gender and spirituality.

Marchané Janeke, a qualified and registered clinical social worker, therapist and mental health coach with appropriately 15 years of experience.

Using a holistic approach to self-care and mental health, they aim to create a safe space to explore and unpack thoughts, emotions, traumas and triggers while providing guidance through the healing process.
